She got an opportunity to be a part of Commonwealth Games in 2010 as well where she was trained as a Doping Control Officer under World Anti-Doping Agency. I have gained extensive therapeutic knowledge over the past 20 plus years treating a broad spectrum of clients and utilizing many types of treatment from sports massage and rehabilitation, to lymphedema management, geriatric, cancer, and palliative care. I graduated with my Masters of Education in 2011, an HBA in Bioethics and Health Studies in 2004, and a degree in Massage Therapy in 1997. In 2019, I completed advanced training in the treatment of lymphedema and cancer care. I am a practicing Massage Therapist, a Combined Decongestive Therapist (CDT), as well as, an educator in health care professions. It has been my experience that healing can occur most effectively in an environment that is gentle, safe, and supportive. Working with individuals to achieve their personal optimum level of health and wellness is a professional challenge and joy. Most recently, I had my own journey with breast cancer which has inspired me to turn my therapeutic focus toward cancer care, comfort massage, and lymphedema treatment.
